Pekepoo
A pekepoo is a cross between a pekingnese and a poodle. We got our pekepoo, Jolee, from a breeder in Georgia. We drove 12 hours one way to pick up our little puppy. Did I mention we drove there the day after Christmas and traffic was horrible? I hope to one day breed Jolee to my late grandma's pekepoo's son, Oliver.
Jolee was the cutest little puppy! The woman we got her from (Greene Gardens), Sabine, was great and seemed to really lover her little puppies! I had to fill out a 20 question questionaire. (How much do you expect to spend on vet care a year? How long will the puppy be at home alone every day?, etc)
Here are some more pictures because she is too cute!

I think she kind of looked like an Ewok.

She has the prettiest coat. Her color now is a brown with black tips.

Now that we live in the country, she gets into all sorts of things when she's playing outside. She got into a big cockleburr bush right before it got cold, so we had to shave her. We also got her a sweater to wear so she wouldn't get too cold! (Poor spoiled thing!)

You can see her little tooth sticking out in this picture. I've read that it's a trait of the breed. We call it her snaggletooth!

This was taken in March 2008- you can see her hair is starting to grow back!
I'll be updating as more cute pictures are taken! :) |
